THIS WEEK'S OUTFITS AT THE OFFICE

I used to wear navy suits or a white coat to look more professional. As a younger woman in medicine, patients often assumed I was a nurse or assistant. Or doubted my experience.

At one medical meeting where I was a featured speaker, an older, male colleague went around and shook everyone’s hand – except mine! (He thought I was a doctor’s wife or girlfriend.)

It’s taken years to gain enough confidence to ditch the suit.

Nowadays, I wear my favorite outfits and heels because I no longer have anything to prove.

Plus, I enjoy being creative with fashion & it makes me happy ❤️!
