SUNSCREEN MISTAKES

 
 

To get the most out of your SPF, avoid these common SUNSCREEN MISTAKES โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ
 
โŒ Donโ€™t forget your BACKSIDE ๐Ÿ‘, especially if youโ€™re in a thong bikini ๐Ÿ‘™; THOSE cheeks often sunburn faster than the cheeks on your face. 

โœ… Remember to apply SPF to the BACK OF YOUR LEGS and NECK.  Iโ€™ve been seeing patients with BURNS in those places recently
 
โŒ Do NOT do the RUB & PAT technique.  I mainly see guys do this โ€” which is fine if you want to protect your palms and fingers, but not so good for the rest of your skin.
 
โœ… Instead โ€” as I demonstrate here with my DR JESSICA WU SUNCARE with Zinc  (Available at drjessicawu.com) apply a THIN, EVEN LAYER-- like frosting a cake ๐Ÿฐ or painting a wall. This will give you the best protection.
 
โœ… If youโ€™re SWEATY or GOING IN THE WATER ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘™๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ look for the words WATER RESISTANT 80 MINUTES.  Otherwise it might just wash off.
 
โค๏ธ ENJOY the outdoors, get some Vitamin D โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ but please DONโ€™T get Sunburned!
