It’s all over K Beauty, and many of you have asked me, so here’s my take, based on science.

I also did a deep dive into snail mucin extraction processes – some seemingly cruelty-free, and others definitely not. There are even YouTube videos on how to DIY extract snail mucin – some using various chemicals. Reputable companies will disclose their extraction methods.
