PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE

I’ve been doing injectables (Botox & Fillers) on myself & patients for 27 years. Still, I continue to perfect my technique every day.

✨️With every patient, I think about how I can give them the best results:

❓️ What’s the best angle to hold the needle? Where are the blood vessels & nerves? Which needles? These are questions I pose when teaching students & young doctors. And I’ve changed all of these over the years.

✨️ I also keep up with the latest published research studies and communicate with worldwide colleagues in my study group so I can give my patients (and you!) the most up to date information, such as:

❓Should you ice after Botox? (ANSWER: No — unless you’ve had a lot of bleeding.)

❓ Do lasers/devices melt filler? (ANSWER: Depends on depth/setting. Deeper ablative lasers & RF devices can).

What I tell my patients & in my posts is based in SCIENCE research, not Tik Tok or Wikipedia “research.”

REMEMBER:  Injectables are a MEDICAL procedure and it’s your FACE & your HEALTH. With ANY procedure, choose a Doctor who has lots of experience & continues to perfect their technique so you get the benefit.  A good place to start is the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery:  Visit www.asds.net  for a qualified dermatologist near you.
