OZEMPIC BUTT
Ozempic Butt: many of my patients are losing weight on GLP-1s, but also losing muscle along with fat.
Here’s how I advise them to stay toned, not flabby:
⭐️Prioritize protein. Aim for 0.5-1 gram per pound of your body weight daily, spread throughout the day. I like this @truvani protein shake, which is vegan, organic, only has 6 ingredients, and tastes like a peanut butter cup.
⭐️Strength train. I want you to lift, squat, or work out with weights at least two to four times a week. Even just walk around the house carrying something heavy.
⭐️Consider Creatine, an amino acid shown to preserve muscle. This is especially important if you’re a woman in perimenopause/menopause, whether you’re on Ozempic or not. I like the one by @the_pause_life from @drmaryclaire
